Why Your Company Logo Sucks – Part 1
We’ve all seen it. That somewhat successful company in town with the horrendous logo. How did that happen? Was it some over-zealous micro-manager with access to Microsoft Paint? Whatever the reason, when it comes to designing a logo for your company – it’s gonna cost you one way or another.
There’s a couple of things you should know before you begin. Who is you target audience? Who will own the final artwork? But the single greatest aspect you should be concerned with is – how is this going to impact my business?
You see, a bad logo can cost you just as much as a great logo. But the difference is that the later will actually increase your opportunities for profit. When you earn someone’s trust – sales are easier to come by making your company more profitable because your spending less time earning trust. When you increase demand you have options – a) move more units or b) increase price.
